About the Garden - Large Show garden

Back at Bord Bia Bloom for a ninth year, the Sculpture in the Park large feature garden takes you on an imaginative journey along crisscrossed paths that are rich in wonder and colour.

The garden combines living materials and static art to create a welcoming, contemporary landscape. Art on display includes many small- to large-scale sculptures created in metals such as bronze, copper, steel, and a unique medium of bog oak.

The art is nestled against a backdrop of Velvet Moon and Elegans Hostas, Garvinea Sweet Love, a selection of Saphora Japonica multi-stems, and both large and dwarf multi-stem pines. The richness of planting, married with the variety of the sculptures’ mediums, finishes and sizes, creates a unique viewing experience around every turn.
