How to Get to Bord Bia Bloom

Bloom takes place in the Visitor Centre of the Phoenix Park, Dublin which is situated on the main Chesterfield Avenue road running from the Main Gate at Parkgate Street to the Castleknock Gate. We have opened and manned more gates into the Phoenix Park for Bloom 2024.

Bloom is located in the centre of The Phoenix Park and is easily accessible on foot. It would take approx. 45 minutes to walk from Parkgate Street Gate to Front Entrance (Chesterfield Avenue) and approx. 10 minutes from the Ashtown or Cabra Gates to the Rear Entrance (North Road). It would take approx. 25 minutes to walk from the Castleknock Gate.

 

It’s possible to cycle right up to the Bloom entrances where cyclists can safely park and lock their bikes in our expanded cycle parks for Bloom 2024.

A free Shuttle Bus Service operates from Parkgate St. to Bloom and back from 7.30am to 7:00pm daily. Drop off will be at a specially designated Bloom stop on Chesterfield Avenue.

We have increased the number of free shuttles each day and have a new dedicated route for our shuttles to get you to Bloom faster in 2024. If you are travelling by train we would advise visitors to leave Bloom 90 minutes prior to your train departure time, to allow yourself ample time.

Please note we will welcome visitors into the festival from 9:00am onwards.

Travel to the Heuston stop then avail of the free shuttle bus from Parkgate Street to Bloom (outlined above).

Broombridge Train Station and Luas Stop (Green Line) is a 40 minute walk to Bloom.

If using the Luas red line, disembark at Heuston station, and avail of the free shuttle bus from Parkgate Street (outlined above).

 

The 99 bus route is the easiest bus to avail of, with Stop 8210 (Áras an Uachtaráin, Phoenix Park) just a 10 minute walk from the festival.

You can also take a public bus to the show via routes 37, 38, 38A, 38B, 38D, 39, 39A, 70, 70D and 122 which stop on the Navan Road, and walk approx. 15-minute to the show (rear entrance). The 46a stops on the North Circular Road Gate which is a 30-minute walk to the show.

Private Coaches can park in The Phoenix Park at the Papal Cross Car Park.

Traffic from the city centre can use Cabra Gate via Blackhorse Ave, the Main Gate to the Phoenix Park (Parkgate Street) and the NCR Gate. Traffic from north city & M50 traffic the Castleknock Gate, Ashtown Gate, Knockmaroon Gate and Chapelizod Gate (From N4 viaNorth Circular) are all available.
Once you enter the Phoenix Park, follow the signs for the nearest Car Park.

Parking at Bloom costs €10 per day, parking passes can be purchased via Ticketmaster when purchasing your Bloom ticket.

Car parking for people with disabilities  is available beside the entrance of each car park. Please ensure your Blue Badge is displayed in a visible position to ensure stewards on site can direct visitors to the dedicated parking areas.
