Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) Irish Craft Village
Always a popular feature at Bord Bia Bloom, the DCCI Irish Craft Village returns this year, bringing some of Ireland’s most talented craftspeople together to showcase their products in a charming village of approximately 38 tents.
The exhibitors are all members of Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) and have been specially selected to illustrate the wide variety of design and craft in Ireland. Here visitors can also observe workshops and demonstrations and take part in drop-in craft activities for all the family.
The Plant Crèche, sponsored by The Orchard Garden Centre
If you buy more plants than you can carry at Bord Bia Bloom this year, fear not. You can store them safely in our Plant Crèche while you explore the festival. When you are ready to leave one of our helpful team of volunteers from the Castleknock/Clonsilla No Name Youth Club can transport your plants to the car park via one of our ‘wheelbarrow taxis’.
The Plant Crèche is sponsored by The Orchard Garden Centre in Celbridge, County Kildare, and is situated beside the Organisers’ Office at the centre of the Bloom site. This is a free service, however, the volunteers are raising money for the Castleknock/Clonsilla No Name Youth Club should you wish to make a charitable donation.
